Bookings

To secure a booking we need a deposit of either £50 or 30% of the price of your stay. The outstanding balance is then due 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. We accept payment by VISA & Mastercard and Paypal.

All bookings are accepted on a firm basis please click here for our cancellation policy and what to do if you need to cancel a booking.

Our bothies and cabins are always cleaned between stays but we operate a 'leave it how you find it' policy. If the bothies or cabins are left untidy, littered or excessively dirty, we reserve the right to make an additional charge.

A good-house keeping security deposit is required on a credit or debit card, this is processed as a pre-authorisation, the day prior to arrival (£50 per cabin, £100 per Bothy/Contained Bliss).

Hot Tub information

Wood Fired Hot Tubs are available with our Pods, Contained Bliss, Bothies and selected Wigwam Cabins, the price includes enough fuel for 2-3 hours use per day, but you can order extra wood if required.

All guests need to receive a hot tub induction prior to use. The latest time we undertake hot tub inductions is 8pm (9pm if you book the pre-light service - see below). If you arrive after this time you will not be able to use your hot tub until the following day.

Wood fired hot tubs take between 2hrs - 2.5hrs to heat up. Once lit, they require topping up with fuel/logs every 30 mins until they reach the required temperature.

We offer an optional hot tub pre-lighting service - £17.50

Our pre-lighting service will light your wood fired hot tub 2hrs prior to your stated arrival time. We'll then top it up after, so that it is up to temperature for the arrival time you advise. When you arrive, we'll come and undertake a hot tub induction so you know what to do when using the hot tub and reheating it on subsequent days.

It is REALLY IMPORTANT that you provide as accurate as possible an arrival time so that the hot tub is not lit too early or too late. Once you select the hot tub pre-lighting option with your booking, we'll email you to confirm your arrival time or if you plan to head out for a meal or a walk we can arrange for the tub to be heated for later on.

You can advise us of any change to your arrival time up to 9am day on the day of arrival (sorry but we can't amend after this time).

Please note the following applies to our hot tub hire:

  • Glamping Pod maximum four people per hot tub
  • Wigwam maximum five people per hot tub
  • Contained Bliss & Ridge Pods maximum two people per hot tub
  • Bothies maximum 8 people per hot
  • No under 5's - under 14's must be supervised at all times
  • No nudity
  • No heavy petting or jumping in
  • Only plastic glasses should be used when in hot tub
  • Hot tub lid should be replaced whenever hot-tub is not in use
  • No dogs allowed around Posh Pods, Ridge Pods, Contained Bliss or Bothies and their hot tub areas. Dogs are allowed in Wigwams but must not enter the hot tub enclosure area.
  • A charge will apply if you need the hot tub refilling during your stay, we do refill it as part of your hire on day 3 & 5 if you book a longer stay.
  • The hot tub firebox gets very hot, young people should always be supervised
  • You use the hot tub entirely at your own risk
  • All damage to hot tubs must be reported
  • Its a good idea to pack a set of Crocs or flip flops
  • Guests from other accommodation can only use hot tubs by prior arrangement, for which a small charge of £10 per person applies.

What to Pack

  • Please remember to bring your bedding (pillows, sleeping bags, duvets) and towels.
  • Bothies & Contained Bliss have plates and cutlery, but for all other accommodation you need to bring your own, plates, mugs, pans, cutlery
  • Please remember your washing up liquid and tea towels.
  • Water container to transport water to your cabin (most people use a 2 or 5 litres spring water bottle).
  • A torch is a good idea even in summer, but essential during long nights.
  • Each cabin has a picnic or dining table outside, some people also bring comfy fold up camping chairs.
  • For our Wigwam Cabins we hire campfire cooking plates to allow you BBQ over your campfire, we also sell disposable BBQ's or you can bring your own BBQ or cooking stove.
  • Contained Bliss & Glamp Pods have outdoor gas grills.
  • We hire out large cooking plates to sit over your firepit / fire trench for the Bothies.
  • If you are having a barbecue, bring some tongs or a BBQ fork.

The camp kitchen is equipped with pots/pans, plates, dishes, glasses and cutlery - we ask that these items aren't removed from the camp kitchen so if you want to eat in or around your cabin please bring your own equipment.

  • If you are hot tubbing, extra towels are a good idea and also flip flops / sliders.
  • Bin bags for rubbish

In Summer:

  • Suntan lotion (yes even in Scotland!)
  • Buckets and spades in case you visit the beach
  • Pond dipping net

In Winter:

  • The farm can be muddy during winter and early spring so if you are planning to explore, a set of wellies would be a good idea.
