We are centrally located on South West Scotland's Solway Coast, providing easy access to some of Britain's finest mountain biking venues.

The 7 Stanes, described as Scotland's Biking Heaven are based around seven trail centres throughout Southern Scotland. You have 6 MTB trails within easy reach of Gorsebank.  Dalbeattie 7 Stanes you can ride from your accommodation (less than 0.5mile), Mabie is 15 minutes drive and another 4 trail centres are within 40 minutes, including Kirroughtree, Ae, Glentrool & Drumlanrig Castle's Old Skool trails.

Suitable for all - the trails are graded similar to ski runs. Consisting of easy wide open forest roads, to technical single tracks, making them suitable for riders of all abilities - families and beginners, to experienced off road cyclists and elite riders.

Dalbeattie 7 Stanes also has a skills loop and the legendary SLAB, a nerve testing sheer face of granite. Also home to the annual Hardrock Challenge, Dalbeattie's 25km red route is arguably the toughest most technical in the UK.



Our accommodation is aimed at mountain bikers on various budgets, from our budget Wigwams Cabins and Stop Over Pods (single nights available),  to our well appointed Bothies with their own lounge, kitchen and giant wood fired hot tub, ideal for larger groups.

If you want a little more luxury look at our Contained Bliss cabins ( Sleeps 2) or Kabin Noir ideal for families with exclusive secure bike store.

We also now have a Campervan Pitch, serviced with water and 10amp electric supply, this comes with its own exclusive toilet and shower.

Local bike shops are located in Dalbeattie & Castle Douglas covering Giant, Specialised, Cube, Merida, Kona, Ghost, Lapierre.

Road riders will savour the quiet country lanes and back waters as you plan a meandering route from village and town along the stunning Galloway coastline and through dramatic countryside. Use us as base to explore the Galloway Forest range and Colvend Coastline. We are 3 miles from National Cycle Route 7.

Our hire bike range comprises of Trek & Giant Hardtail bikes. We also have children's 20" & 24" bikes and for younger adventurers tag alongs or buggy trailers.
