TOP 5 RECOMMENDATIONS

There's so much to discover and explore

Dumfries and Galloway offers a wide variety of things to see and do, during your visit to this stunning and easily accessible part of Scotland:

mountain biking / walking / nature & bird watching / castles & culture / local food & drink producers / children's attractions / stargazing / adventure & adrenaline seekers activities.

Things to do onsite:

In addition to our Segway Tours,  Trout & Coarse Fishing and Bike Hire, you can explore the farm and meet our Herdwick Sheep. From mid April we'll be lambing so you can muck in and help. Sometimes we need to bottle feed the tiny ones. Out on the farm you can try the Nature Treasure Hunt and find all the animal boards - be prepared some of them are tricky to find. The Adventure Path, with its tyre swing, swamp crossing, slides, see-saw and walk the plank - will have parents clambering to keep up with the kids! Can't get the children off their phones, rally them to try our Smartphone Trail using What3Words as they hunt for clueboards around the farm. Venture into our woodland and spend an hour or so Den Building, before heading back to your cabin for a relax, campfire and BBQ.
